The Visual Guides of Animal Reproduction, or VisGAR, database, formerly known as the Drost Project, is a quick-reference guide for veterinary students, teachers and practicing veterinarians. The searchable database provides access to annotated images pertinent to veterinary reproduction. All images in the database have been carefully curated by experts in the field of veterinary reproduction — theriogenology — and cover major areas of study including estrus detection, reproduction technology (embryo transfer, in-vitro fertilization, cloning), obstetrics, postpartum care, among others.
