Bruna Del Nero, MV, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Cardiology)

Bruna earned her veterinary degree from the University of São Paulo in 2014 and emigrated to the United States shortly thereafter. Since then, she has pursued a career in veterinary cardiology, which has been her area of interest and focus since early in her veterinary education. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Florida in 2020 and a cardiology residency at Colorado State University in 2023. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Sciences from the same institution. She is proud and excited to have returned to UF as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology, and although she is interested in many aspects of her specialty, she is particularly passionate about minimally invasive and hybrid cardiac interventions.
