This office provides a media contact for information about the college, its programs and its activities. Sarah Carey, M.A., A.P.R., the director of communications, is our media liaison and assists in arranging interviews with college faculty and administration.

In addition to preparing news releases for the Associated Press and various trade publications, the office manages our social media presence, oversees the website and contributes to or produces a variety of internal and external publications.

The Florida Veterinarian, our college’s magazine, is printed twice a year and sent to alumni, friends and donors, members of the media and others who request to be on our mailing list. The Veterinary Page, our internal newsletter, is published online monthly for faculty, staff and students of the college and contains some of our most timely updates.

The college also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter and we welcome everyone to follow our latest happenings through those venues as well.If you are seeking information about any of our programs or have other requests relating to the college or the UF Veterinary Hospitals,  please contact Sarah via email or call her at 352-294-4242.
