Congratulations are in order for six UF College of Veterinary Medicine staff, scientists and clinicians honored with 2026 UF Superior Accomplishment Awards, receiving well-deserved recognition from the university for dedication to their jobs and for going above and beyond to advance the mission of the university and serve the UF community at-large

Nicole Adams (Rookie of the Year); Shannon Branton, Alexis Jenkins, Kevin Kroll, Michelle Wilhelmy (Sustained Excellence); and Billi Wilson (Individual Employee Performance) all represented the college with 2026 accolades.

CVM’s honorees were recognized on Monday, Feb. 16, at an awards banquet to honor the Division 5 UF Health and academic health college winners, nominators, supervisors and deans. Each recipient received a $300 cash award and is in the mix to compete for university-level awards, which offer six $1,000 and nine $2,000 cash awards.

UF Superior Accomplishment Award winners are nominated by supervisors, peers or customers, with outstanding letters of support submitted on their behalf. The awards program is designed to recognize faculty and staff for outstanding and meritorious service, demonstrated efficiency and economy in their work, and for creating an impact on the quality of life of students, patients, clients, fellow colleagues and employees.

The college and our veterinary hospitals are fortunate to have a wealth of talented and dedicated professionals on our team. We are grateful to the many people who took the time to nominate and write letters of support for this year’s Superior Accomplishment Award winners.
