DVM and Graduate Students:
- Classes are cancelled on Friday.
- Clinical students should report to clinics Saturday morning by 7am.
- Campus will be closed on Friday. Only essential employees should report to work.
UF Veterinary Hospitals Operations:
- The UF Veterinary Hospitals Gainesville and the UF Veterinary Hospital at World Equestrian Center will be open for normal business on Friday.
- The UF Pet Emergency Treatment Services will be open Friday at 5 p.m.
Update: September 25, 2024 at 1 p.m.
DVM and Graduate Students:
- Campus has cancelled all classes on Thursday, 9/26/24.
- Our Office for Academic and Student Affairs will be rescheduling exams.
- Clinical students are dismissed on Thursday at 12 a.m. and will be off clinical duty until 7 a.m. Friday morning.
- Graduate students are dismissed on Thursday.
UF Veterinary Hospital Operations:
- UF Veterinary Hospitals Gainesville will be open for normal business hours until 11 a.m. Thursday, 9/26/24 and will move to emergency operations only starting at 3 p.m. through Friday morning.
- UF Pet Emergency Treatment Services will close Thursday, 9/26 and will reopen Friday, 9/27 at 5 p.m. pending facility status.
- UF Veterinary Hospital at World Equestrian Center will be open for normal business hours until 11 a.m. Thursday, 9/26/24 and will move to urgent and emergency small animal patients starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday. The equine hospital will also provide urgent treatment for horses and other large animals sheltered at WEC during that time.
College:
- All non-essential employees are released for Thursday 9/26/24.
