Submit Your Grant

All grant applications involving CVM faculty must be submitted through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and accompanied by a DSR-1 form signed by the investigators and relevant department chairs. Where a CVM faculty member is the Principal Investigator for a grant application that involves faculty from outside the CVM, the DSR-1 form must be signed by by all outside faculty, their department chairs and deans before submission to the CVM Office of Research and Graduate Studies. Where a non-CVM faculty member is PI on a grant application that involves CVM faculty, the CVM Office of Research and Graduate Studies must approve CVM faculty members' portions of the grant application before submission.

Paper Grant Applications

Please bring your completed grant application package to the CVM Grants Specialist (Ms. Frances Edwards) for review. The Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies will not approve a grant application that has not been reviewed by the CVM Grants Specialist. It is strongly recommended that you provide the Grants Specialist with a copy of your budget for review at least 1 week prior to submission of your grant application to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.
