Appointments
The goal of the University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) is to make the experience for our clients as stress-free as possible.
To make a small animal(dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and exotics) appointment please call (352)392-2235
To make a large animal (horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, llamas and alpacas) appointment please call (352)392-2229.
When you call, a scheduling staff member will assist you. A referral to the University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) can be requested by your veterinarian as well. If it is not possible to keep a scheduled appointment, please contact the scheduling staff at least 24 hours in advance. If you are going to arrive late, please contact the scheduling staff as soon as possible.

8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays
Emergencies only
Please be advised that a negative Coggins test will be required for all equine patients. If you do not have a current Coggins test, one can be performed at the Large Animal Hospital for a fee.
