Appointments and Client Information
The goal of the University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) is to make the experience for our clients as stress-free as possible.
To make a Small Animal (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and exotics) appointment please call 352-392-2235.
To make a Large Animal (horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, llamas and alpacas) appointment please call 352-392-2229.
When you call a scheduling staff member will assist you. A referral to the University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) can be requested by your veterinarian as well. If it is not possible to keep a scheduled appointment, please contact the scheduling staff at least 24 hours in advance. If you are going to arrive late, please contact the scheduling staff as soon as possible.

Emergencies only
Please be advised that a negative Coggins test will be required for all EQUINE patients. If you do not have a current Coggins test, one can be performed at the Large Animal Hospital for a fee.
