Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine is concerned with the total health of all members of the animal kingdom, including man. Today's society expects the veterinarian to serve the needs of the public in a variety of significant ways. A few examples are: the practice of preventive medicine in relation to both human and animal health, solution of agricultural and wildlife problems, humane care of companion animals, research on diseases of animals, provision of wholesome food, etc. Therefore, the College of Veterinary Medicine offers unlimited opportunity for young men and women interested in medicine and the well-being of animals.
