Research Interests:

Professor Richard Sams is involved in the development and validation of new testing methods to detect drugs, drug metabolites, and other substances in test samples collected from animals, particularly racehorses and livestock. Furthermore, he is involved in studies of the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs and other substances in animals.
