Objective

To provide the general practitioner an opportunity to observe the teaching and practice of small animal medicine.

Participants

All members of the Small Animal Medicine Service with faculty assuming the responsible role and private practitioners who are visiting us to enhance their diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

Format
  • Only one practitioner per day unless special circumstances prove otherwise.
  • Practitioner's scope of participation: observation and discussion.
  • On the first day of the visiting practitioner's arrival, he/she will be asked to report to Celia's office (VC-2A) at 8:30 am sharp then a medicine technician or medicine clinician will greet the visitor and conduct a tour of our facility.
  • The technician will bring the visiting practitioner to the clinic area where introductions will be made. The faculty assigned will assume responsibility for the colleague's visit with his/her team.
