Program Outline

Veterinary practitioners will observe various activities of imaging. Hospital activities include diagnostic radiography, contrast radiography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and radiation therapy. The program can be tailored to satisfy the interest of the visiting practitioners. In most cases, the visiting practitioners will be asked to actively participate in diagnostic interpretation of imaging examinations through discussion with radiology faculty members and residents.

Resources

Daily case materials and various imaging examinations serve as the main resource for continuing education. In addition, visiting practitioners are encourage to review teaching files that are available upon request. Each faculty member has an extensive collection of radiology textbooks. The visiting practitioners can also ask for additional teaching materials such as CD ROM autotutorials.
