Faced with the task of quelling pain for animals requiring surgery, the anesthesia and pain management team offers quality care to large and small animal patients.
- Advanced monitoring equipment with capability for critical cases, including direct blood pressure monitoring, blood gas analysis, capnography, pulse oximety and respiratory gases analysis
- Advanced anesthetic techniques like balanced anesthesia, total intravenous anesthesia and selected nerve blocks for severely compromised patients.
- Faculty members serve as consultants to veterinarians and owners for pain management in animals.
- A highly qualified veterinarian certified in acupuncture provides other complementary and alternative medicine remedies as well as acupuncture.
