Welcome Class of 2009
The Class of 2009 graduated in May 2009. Eighty-four new doctors took the "Veterinarian's Oath." This is the 29th class to graduate, bringing the total of alumni to 2,302 DVMs. A complete list of our graduates and their career paths are listed here.

In Memoriam
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Trudi Dam, CVM Class of 1992. Dr. Dam passed away September 19, 2009 at her sister’s home in North Carolina. Dr. Dam lived in Wadesboro, North Carolina and practiced medicine with St. Francis Companion Animal Hospital. She previously practiced medicine in the Haines City, FL, area and specialized in exotic bird med.
Cards and acknowledgements may be sent to her sister, Lisa Thacker & Family, at 1412 Morven Road, Wadesboro, North Carolina 28170-3136.
Funeral services were held last month in North Carolina. More information is posted on the Charlotte Observer newspaper obituaries. You may post a message in the guest book.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sylvan Heights Waterfowl Park and Eco-Center, 4963 HWY 258, Scotland Neck, NC 27874.
