College Business Office

The College Budget and Business Office provides reliable and timely financial information to college and hospital administrators and supports the College's departmental fiscal offices. The combination of accurate financial reporting and responsibility for monitoring of fiscal and budget records is crucial to the College achieving its overall objectives. The College Budget and Business Office also serves as a resource and tool for the benefit of the related administrative units, the four departments and the Veterinary Medical Center. We prepare the budget to allocate General Revenue (GR), University of Florida Foundation (UFF), Department of Continuing Education (DOCE) and Miscellaneous Gifts and Grants (MG&G) accounts.

Our office staff are willing to assist in the deposit, procurement process and the payment of invoices for goods and services rendered to the College of Veterinary Medicine's Dean's and Administrative Offices. We also process payments for travel, moving expenses for new faculty members, and stipend payments for graduate research assistants at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Our office supports the funding needs for College departments and administration, and serves as a point of contact for PeopleSoft access and functionality issues for CVM staff members.

We serve our students in assisting with the scholarship funding process, working closely with the College Office for Students and Instruction and the University of Florida Foundation. Our staff assist in the depositing of scholarship, research, and general donations benefitting the UF College of Veterinary Medicine, and process disbursements from UF Foundation funding sources for same.
