The College is organized into six functional and administrative units: College Administration, the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, the Department of Infectious Diseases & Pathology, the Department of Physiological Sciences, the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, and the Veterinary Medical Center. The CVM is a college in two University of Florida administrative units, having funding and reporting ties to the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and the Health Science Center.

The College is administratively organized with Dean Glen Hoffsis as the chief officer. Dr. Jim Thompson serves as Executive Associate Dean. Dr. Thomas W. Vickroy serves as Interim Associate Dean for Students and Instruction, overseeing the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program, its instruction and students. Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies Dr. Charles Courtney oversees research, grants and our MS/PhD programs. Dr. Louis Archbald is our Director of Multicultural Programs. Mrs. Zoë Seale serves as our Senior Director of Development and Alumni Affairs, and Mrs. Sarah Carey is our Director of Public Relations.

The College is comprised of four departments and also operates a teaching hospital. The college has four academic departments: the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, the Department of Pathobiology, the Department of Physiological Sciences, and the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. Department chairs are Chair, Large Animal Clinical Sciences Dr. Eleanor Green; Chair, Infectious Diseases & Pathology Dr. John Dame; Chair, Physiological Sciences Dr. John Harvey; and Chair, Small Animal Clinical Sciences Dr. Colin Burrows.

The Veterinary Medical Center at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine includes both the Small Animal Hospital and the Large Animal Hospital, each of which functions under the direction of a chief of staff and an associate chief of staff. The Small Animal Hospital is under the direction of Chief of Staff Dr. Colin Burrows and Associate Chief of Staff Dr. Michael Schaer. The Large Animal Hospital is under the direction of Chief of Staff Dr. Eleanor Green and Associate Chief of Staff Dr. David Freeman.

The business, administrative and support services for the Veterinary Medical Center and the College are under the supervision of Mr. John Haven, Director of Medical/Health Administration. The Fiscal Affairs Assistant Director is Ms. Judy Bousquet Broward, and
Mr. Robert Hockman
serves as Associate Director of Facilities Management.
