News and Public Relations

This office provides a media contact for information about the college, its programs and its activities. Sarah Carey, M.A., A.P.R., the director of public relations, is our media liaison and assists in arranging interviews with college faculty and administration.

In addition to preparing news releases for the Associated Press and various trade publications, the office produces a variety of internal and external college brochures and newsletters.

The Florida Veterinarian, our college’s primary external newsletter, is printed twice a year and sent to alumni, friends and donors, members of the media and others who request to be on our mailing list. The Veterinary Page, our internal newsletter, is published online monthly for faculty, staff and students of the college and contains some of our most timely updates.

The college also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter and we welcome everyone to follow our latest happenings through those venues as well.
